Announcement from Kursad Turksen

Hello All:

I am writing to invite your group to contribute a chapter to a protocol
volume entitled:

Epidermal Permibility Barrier

Methods and Protocols

I feel that this topic is very timely and I am aiming to gather most of
the pertinent protocols that will cover isolation, characterization,
maintenance as well as assaying fior their potentials.

The volume will be published as part of Springer™s very successful
Methods in Molecular Biology series, [see for the list
http://www.springer.com/series/7651?detailsPage=titles] a series that
has flourished under the editorial leadership of Dr. John Walker.
Currently, there are more than 700 volumes with 50 new volumes annually
on different topics of molecular and cell biology.

Once the print version is published, the protocols also become part
of Springer™s Protocols On Line series,
[http://www.springerprotocols.com/] which contains more than 30000
protocols and is available through libraries at most major US Universities.

I would be delighted if you accept this invitation to contribute a
chapter. I will send you all the necessary information for the volume
including a sample chapter, instructions to authors and contributors
agreement later on.

Once I have enough interest in Barcelona-Meeting of the group, I will set a
deadline submission date of Spring 2012. Chapters are reviewed for
formatting. Once all the chapters are finalized, Springer generally
publishes the hard copy within 6-8 months. Therefore, the anticipated
publication date is spring of 2012/2013.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best wishes

Kursad Turksen, Ph.D.
